Yes, you can use Skouta on a free plan. The core alerts feed — police, weather, transport, traffic and civil emergencies — is free and always will be. Skouta Premium adds personalization: multiple saved locations, filtered notifications and the Daily Digest. Every new user starts with 14 days of Premium, no card needed and no strings attached.
Skouta Free gives you the full alerts feed for one city — every category, always free. With Skouta Premium you can track up to 5 locations, use filtered notifications, and get your custom Daily Digest every morning.
Your alerts feed stays completely free, but you'll no longer have the option to filter them by source and save custom filters.
You'll only track 1 city or address.
Your Daily Digest is stopped but you can still see your previous summaries.
You'll continue to receive push notifications, but only for critical events in your area.
Yes. You can cancel anytime in your App Store subscription settings. Once you cancel, your Skouta Premium benefits will still be active until the last day of your remaining subscription cycle — at the end of month or year, depending on your subscription type. After that you're automatically switched to Skouta Free, so you can still access the alerts feed for 1 location.
Refunds for App Store subscriptions are handled directly by Apple, not Skouta. You can request one through your Apple ID purchase history. All payments go through Apple's billing system, so Skouta doesn't have a separate refund process.
Yes, you can set custom notifications by category on Skouta Premium — so you only hear about what matters to you.
On Skouta Free, you only receive critical notifications for your chosen city or address. Either way, you'll never be notified about anything outside the categories Skouta covers.
On Skouta Free, you can track 1 location — either a city or an address of your choice.
On Skouta Premium, you can track up to 5 cities or specific locations, like your home, office, your kids' school, summer house or anywhere else that matters.
Yes, on Skouta Premium. As a subscriber, your Daily Digest displays alerts from the past 7 days. Skouta Free only shows current alerts.
